The birth of the project.
In the beginning, there was us: Lola and Aurore — friends brought together by a shared artistic sensibility. We felt the desire to unite art with the world of jewelry, by highlighting the work and creativity of inspiring and inspired women.
Together, through this project, we took the leap into entrepreneurship and embarked on the great adventure that is Maison LAU.

By bringing together art and craftsmanship in a single piece of jewelry, Maison LAU aspires to inspire confidence in those who wear it. Our distinctive approach lies in collaborating on each collection with a bold and emerging female artist — whether illustrator, painter, tattoo artist, street artist, or poet — to create unique pieces: small works of art to wear, like a painting.

We were deeply committed to creating truly unique jewelry pieces: on one side of the piece, we engrave the design created by the artist specifically for the collection; on the other, an encouraging phrase is inscribed, like a mantra. Here, the freedom to create is placed in everyone’s hands, by personalizing the jewelry with a favorite phrase, a loving word, a mantra, or a personal message — for yourself or as a gift.

Here, our creations reflect our values: creating while leaving as little impact on the world as possible. So we challenged ourselves, searched carefully and locally, to find high-quality, responsibly sourced and recycled materials — and above all, to surround ourselves with the right people who share the same vision.
Along the way, we met many individuals driven by the same commitment, and eventually found how to create ethical, high-quality jewelry. We’ll tell you everything about how our jewelry and packaging are made.
